Meet Executive Chef Nahun Rivera
A native of Los Angeles, CA, Chef Nahun Rivera began his culinary journey in 2011, working alongside renowned Chef Nate Steinbeck. His talent quickly shone through as he became part of the back-to-back winning teams on the hit show Cupcake Wars. In 2016, Chef Rivera moved to Austin, where he continued to refine his skills and eventually joined the University of Texas Club at Darrell K Royal - Texas Memorial Stadium in 2018 as Sous Chef under Invited.
Chef Rivera’s culinary vision is centered around creating a familiar and friendly selection of dishes while exploring innovative flavors to provide new and exciting culinary experiences for guests. "I view a plate as my canvas, and our food should paint a delightful picture every time," he says.
Outside the kitchen, Chef Nahun enjoys spending quality time with his four children and passionately coaches his son and daughter's AAU basketball teams. Excellence runs in the family, as each of his children has recently celebrated championship victories in their respective seasons.
